This past weekend, I went to Newport Harbor to compete in a regatta!

We drove to the yacht club that was hosting the Leukemia Cup. I rigged my Tera and went to the skipper’s meeting. A survivor of leukemia told us her story. It was very sad. š¦ We finally got to launch.
There were six races. The first two races I did kind of bad, but I pushed myself and in the 3rd one I got 4th. After a couple more races, we went in. I de-rigged my boat with the help of my trusty sister, Sarah. My final result was 6th place! After the regatta, I jumped in the car and headed home.
Looks like great fun!
