Directions

  1. Butter skillet or large pan. In a small bowl mix olive oil, garlic powder, pepper, & basil. Turn the heat to medium high on your stove.
  2. Butter 1 side of your bread and spoon some of your olive oil sauce on.
  3. Put the bread on your pan or skillet with the buttered side down. Put 1 slice of American and Provolone cheese on top of the bread.
  4. Butter and put your olive oil sauce on another piece of bread. Place it on top of the cooking grilled cheese. Sprinkle some parmesan on top of the bread.
  5. Do the same with the rest of your sandwiches. After done cooking place them on a plate and cut into 2 triangles. Serve with a refreshing drink.
  6. And lastly, enjoy! 🙂

Easy Buttercream Icing

I’m back! Today, I’m going to write a post on a topic I’ve never done–a recipe. It’s easy buttercream icing! I make this sometimes and love it. It is delicious! Serving 12 people, it takes 10 minutes to make. This icing has ingredients that most everybody has at their house.

Ingredients:

  • cups of powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup of softened butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk

The Makings

  • In a medium bowl, mix the powdered sugar and butter/margarine with a beater at low. Next, stir in vanilla and one tablespoon of milk.
  • Beat until you have smooth icing with no lumps. If it is thick, then use that extra tablespoon of milk. If the icing becomes too thin, beat in a little bit of powdered sugar.
