For the solar eclipse on August 21, 2017, we went to Caspers Wilderness Park. We met a couple of our friends. We got to see the solar eclipse though our glasses and a telescope. Also, we went to the nature center there, and we got to pet an adorable snake with big eyes (I LOVE snakes!!)!
When the solar eclipse was over, we went to the playground and played Lava Monster for the majority of the time!! It was super fun!!
What is a solar eclipse??
A solar eclipse usually occurs every three hundred and seventy-five years. It’s when the moon goes in front of the sun looking like the picture below.
